Sizing
This pattern is offered in sizes 2 to 16 according to the body measurements below. Take your measurements at the widest part of bust and hips and the narrowest point of the waist, then compare these measurements to this table. Choose the size that matches your measurements best. For this dress, the most important measurement is the bust. If your waist and hips are slightly larger than the standard size, you may not need to adjust as there are lots of ease in the skirt.

Good to know
Fabric choice/yardage
Length: I recommend a 60inch (150cm) wide fabric. You will need 2.7 yards (2.5 meters). If you choose a less wide fabric, divide frill pieces that are too wide for your fabric. Add 1.18 inch (3cm) seam allowance every time you divide a piece, and piece them together.
Fabric choice: all flowy fabrics: silk crepe, viscose/rayon, polyester, wool… But this pattern can also work with thin fabrics with a stiffer drape such as cotton lawn, poplin, swiss dot cotton… Beware of sheer fabrics, I personally think this dress looks better unlined (it reduces the bulk).
You will need
Interfacing for the collar and wrists. A 50cm zipper (about 19.6 inch), 4 small buttons (3.5 to 4.3 inch – 9 to 11mm), thread matching your fabric, a machine needle that fits your fabric type, a marking pen, scissors and pins.
