Fiber and weave
Fiber: this fabric is a printed tencel, which is still very rare. Like viscose, it’s made from wood fibers and has a lovely flowing drape. But unlike viscose, it is produced in an entirely environmentally-friendly way. It is also Oeko-tex certified class II. Tencel has antibacterial properties, which makes it very pleasant to wear in Summer.
Weave: this is a light to medium-weight twill (160g / square meter). Its good thickness and tight twill weave give it very good opacity: a lining is not mandatory. This fabric has no stretch.
Styling
We love to wear this beautiful print on small pieces (a top, a skirt…) or on short dresses.
Pair it with a chambray or light denim for a fresh, summery look. Wear it with a clean, minimalistic little dress to counterbalance its bold pattern, or on the contrary, indulge in frills and gathers for a very girly look paired with flat sandals or wedges.
This fabric is available in two flattering colorways, a French Blue and Soft Coral, that will complement any skin tone.
Care and maintenance
Delicate washing: to preserve its smooth surface and beautiful colors, we recommend machine-washing it using the ‘hand wash’ or ‘delicate’ program on your machine (low temperature, very low spin). This fabric could withstand more intensive programs, but its colors may fade more quickly in these conditions.
Iron on medium heat, with steam.
