Pattern of the month: the Lune dress
I designed the Lune dress to be my dream maxi dress. With its long floaty skirt billowing around your ankles, I feel like a movie star. It is a dress made for walking down stairs – catch the long lengths in your hand to lift your skirt and feel like a princess of the old times. Or walk in the streets of your city and dream of resorts: feel the wind in the palm trees and the smell of the sea. Wherever you go, you will be noticed: long skirts with such a flare in the bottom have a mesmerizing movement. Choose your style: casual chic in a floral print, or supremely elegant in a crepe, or sophisticated with accents of lustrous silk or satin.
But style isn’t everything: when designing women dress patterns, taking into account the different body shapes is important too. This is why the front and back V-neckline is bra compatible. Also, the inverted V cut empire waist makes this dress flattering for all body shapes – forget all you knew about empire waists! This one doesn’t add any bulk. Moreover, this dress pattern is baby-bump friendly, at least for the beginning of the pregnancy thanks to the very flared skirt (this is not a maternity dress).
Patterns made with passion
I am an indie pattern designer, and I became one thanks to you. I’ve been sewing since I was a child, I began sharing my makes on Instagram in 2018 and so many of you asked me to launch a women sewing patterns brand that I did it! It is not my job, just a hobby, but I do it with passion.
New additions… all the time!
I don’t do seasonal collections, or monthly updates. I just follow my inspiration and cope with my professional and personal constraints. But I’m always bursting with ideas! So, follow me on Instagram to see the new patterns pop in your feed !
I’m open to new ideas!
You love a specific pattern but you would like sleeves on it? You really like the Lune maxi dress but you wish it existed in a short length? You feel like I could add a specific information on my website? I’m listening: feel free to drop me a line and maybe I will follow your suggestion!
