Libra is a Bodysuit with long sleeves, 3/4 sleeves or short sleeves, and a front scooped neckline. The back features an optional circle cut out with removable ribbon bow. This bodysuit should be made in a thicker jersey (ribbed jersey is a very good choice as well as stretch velvet). The fabric should have 2-ways stretch. Two shortening/lengthening lines allow to adjust both the waist-back length and crotch length.

3/5 – average. You need to be familiar with reading a sewing pattern, and to sew jersey (note: thick jersey is much easier to sew than thin slippery jersey).
Thick jersey (ribbed jersey is ideal), stretch velvet… All stretch fabrics with at least 75% stretch (you need to be able to easily stretch 4’’ (10cm) of fabric to at least 6.9’’ (17.5cm).
With 60’’ wide fabrics: 1.20 yards for all versions it no length adjustment is needed. If you need to lengthen the bodysuit (back waist length and/or crotch length), take 1.7 yards. With 44’’ wide fabrics, you will need 2.20 yards for all versions.
You will need:
Matching thread for your fabric, a needle suited to your fabric type (make sure it is new or in good condition so as not to scratch the fabric). 0.39’’ (1cm) wide elastic: 3.3 yards (3m) for sizes 2 to 8, 3.8 yards (3.5m) for a size 10 to 16, 3 small snaps to open and close the bodysuit at the crotch, and 1.09 yard (1m) of ribbon for the bow tie in the back.
